Re: Front Inserts For flat Nocks

I found that either a few dabs of blue loctite crazy glue or a light dab/smear of gorilla glue on the end and threads of the set screws works really good for holding them into the plastic nocks. Just be careful with the gorilla glue because it expands when it starts to cure and you'll have a sticky ...

Re: Adhesive brake pads not happy

It could an old batch with old glue. I know the originals had that problem and excal pulled them until they and 3m could fix the issue. I had/got a pair of the old ones and after the first shot, pop went the right one and I peeled off thr left right after. Flash forward about a week after that and b...

Re: TT 2 stage with issues

For the TT problem it sounds like your not following through on the shot by keeping your finger on the trigger during/after the shot.

It could also be the screw located in the trigger guard is loose (the one that the hole in the guard is drilled for)

Re: 92 grain brass insert

Sorry if my question strays a little bit from the thread but what is considered a good FOC/weight combo? For example: going by the gold tip calculator, my current setup weighs roughly 406 gr with a 19.04% FOC. If I increase the weight by switching from 100 Gr points etc to 125 gr points then my new ...

How Much Speed Would I Lose With A Heavier Arrow?

Hi

I'm currently shooting a 400-405 Gr arrow between 315-320 FPS.

How much speed would I roughly lose if added 25 more Grains to my arrow weight I.E. switched from 100 Gr field points/broadheads to 125 Gr field points and broadheads.

Making the new total arrow weight 425-430 Gr.

Thanks in advance

Re: mono-pod or bi-pod?

For my ground blind I use a Bog-Pod tripod and for the ground/ghillie suit I use a Harris Bi-Pod.

I also use both for just shooting too

Re: New 2016 Micro added to stable..... couple questions ?

I have a first generation Micro 335 with the DB killers/bumpers andGaston recommends that the strings either slightly touches them or at the very max have roughly a 1/2 a credit cards thickness between the string and bumpers.

Hope this helps

Re: First time turkey hunting

When i first decided to get into turkey hunting I thought the people who were giving me info about them were making stuff up. As it stands now, I think they not only were telling me the truth but am also convinced that turkeys are actually escaped feathered demons from hell and take pleasure in the ...
