I finally cleaned my limbs with acetone then applied a small drop of insert glue (crazy glue) and reapplied the Ex-Shox. Let them sit 24 hours to dry. They haven’t moved since then! This was my third set that flew off the limbs even when applied per directions! Good luck! Thanks for that tip! I'll ...

X Shocks flew off

Wednesday, after our hunt, I let my buddy shoot it instead of decocking. It was 26 degrees, and the X Shocks flew off.

Any suggestions on where to buy new ones and how to keep that from happening again?

Thanks.

Re: New to Excalibur

Welcome to the forum and what great information. I just purchased an Assassin as well and everyone has answered most of my questions and even given numbers to call. @USAF where were you stationed and afsc? I was a 605 in a Mobile Aerial Port for 4 years, then recruited for 19, my last 11 years as a...

Re: Scope Suggestions?

From what I understand, these are Hawke scopes made for Trophy Ridge: SpeedComp XV530IR Crossbow Scope

I have 2 on my Scorpyds, and like them. I think I paid $114 for them off , vs $299 for a Hawke

Re: New to Excalibur

Thanks guys.

I have a stringer, and Black Eagle arrows. I have both Slick Trick and Truglo 4 blade expandable heads. Any suggestions on which to use?

Also, I have 2 Scorpyd Orions to go with this Assassin, so not sure when I'll 'need' my next crossbow

New to Excalibur

Bought an Excalibur Assassin. It shot lights out today, and I'm glad it didn't take long to sight in...it was only 27 degrees.

Any suggestions on things I might need?
