The Gerber Carnivore is made for blood tracking. It makes the blood pop out. Used it this yr and it works very well.

A 2 day walk from the vehicle. Now that's a dedicated hunter & outdoorsman.

Make sure to wash your hands well after handling. They are a carrier of salmonella. Used to catch them all the time in our pond when I was young. They love worms.

As far as cost of the Canon S2 IS. Last year the Canon S1 IS price dropped drastically when the S2 IS came out. I would guess the S2 IS price will plunge with the release of the S3 IS. Wait a month & see.
