Re: I hate the word harvest.
Why is it that some people think using a certain word is incorrect when the dictionary says that it's the proper word to use? I hate how some people make up their own definitions and think people who use the word properly are the ones who are incorrect  Fact trumps opinion... http://www.vocabu...

When to Buy a New Bow?
Back when I first bought my Exomax there weren't very many options at all to choose from and new models weren't common. These days it seems like they're releasing new bows every few months. I really want a Micro, but with so many bows being released lately I don't want to buy a Micro just to see a n...

Re: chrony light kits
Parts List: -2 soup cans -2 light sockets -2, 15 watt incandescent tube lights -wire -male plug end -zip ties Use the cans to make mini light hoods with the lights inside them and then zip tie your creation to the top plastic panels of the chrony so it illuminates the white plastic. Looks a bit redn...

Re: Just got a Excal M380... wow, very LOUD!!!
ive killed alot of turkeys with a exomax, many times when i shoot one the other turkeys just look up for a minute and either keep on doing what they are doing or come and jump on the one that has been shot, usually the loudest part is when the arrow smacks one of them.if they(the deer or turkey) are ...

Re: Micro vs Matrix Pictures
Do you think the deer will notice the difference?? Nope, they sure won't. But, the hunter who is hunting those deer sure will when he is carrying the much smaller bow through thick brush  Anyone have an Exomax to Micro comparison? I use an Exomax and have handled the Micro in stores, but woul...

Re: Making flemish string
I started by making and remaking strings using cheap material until my weaving technique was down pat. Boo was most helpful with information and even string material along the way. Personally I like the clipped end, makes it look like a silencer rather than a fuzzed out string; and they are easier ...

Re: Just got a Excal M380... wow, very LOUD!!!
The arrow travels faster than the sound. What weight arrows are you shooting? If you increase arrow weight you will cut sound down. Everything you attach to string or limbs slows down bow to some degree. Wrap the stirrup with sports grip tape and put rubber gasket material between stirup and riser,...

Replace the stirrup with some heavy duty cord (lawnmower pull cord) and be done with any and all stirrup vibration. Cheap too!

Looks like someone was checking out your stand and letting you know they know you're there. Put a trail camera out there and it'll likely go missing.
Unless it was samsquanch!?

Re: What i see for the Micro
Somewhat ghetto, but black pipe insulation works very well and can be trimmed to fit your exact needs. You can make it match quite well and look decent with some matching camo tape applied carefully to prevent wrinkles with minimal seams. Cost is about $10 - $15 to buy the materials to ake 12 of the...

Re: did a lttle more work on rusty
Is it possible to put a Matrix 405 riser and limb set on the Exomax rail? That would add 2.5-3" of power stroke to a set of limbs already producing 405 fps on the shorter Matrix rail... Absolutely, not...  I'm not starting an argument and simply don't know. Why wouldn't it? The Vi...

Re: did a lttle more work on rusty
Very interesting! Did you manage to find just the Matrix parts or did you have to buy an entire bow to get the riser and limbs? Is it possible to put a Matrix 405 riser and limb set on the Exomax rail? That would add 2.5-3" of power stroke to a set of limbs already producing 405 fps on the shor...

Re: Another question about shoot through mesh
Windows in for me. If I am in a blind it is because it is crappy weather or I have a kid or two with me. Screens are a must for those reasons. As far as shooting through them, I did extensive testing a few years ago, all with Slick Tricks. I shot through loose mesh (just connected in the corners), ...

Re: Which mechanicals do you trust thru screen
I'd never shoot any arrow through any screen. Intentionally increasing the odds of your arrow not flying true while shooting a live target doesn't sound like a good idea to me.
That said, what is the purpose of the screen on the windows anyways?
