Re: Last Hunt at the Zoo

I might add that there are plenty of good woodlots near Glencoe Ontario and surrounding this region. Hope your lucky and find another good property For 22. Thanks buddy! We are already on it but you know how it goes up there. Landowners hunt the land themselves or they have groups using it. That’s ...

Last Hunt at the Zoo

I got the call that no Hunter wants to hear. “Derrick, I’m sorry but I had to sell the Zoo.” The best piece of land my Dad and I ever hunted was to be sold in two weeks time and we needed to remove our equipment; the new owner is not keen on hunting and plans to bulldoze most of the forest anyway. “...

I had my personal favourite Excalibur made to my preferences 8)

The only model I coveted that I have not owned is a BD 400, that would be my choice for a bone stock Excalibur.

Re: Norms Custom Arrow builds

I have used Norm’s arrows for years. His attention to detail and the uniformity from arrow to arrow are just as good as the best custom arrow makers. Order with confidence!

Re: TRIGGER TECH QUESTION

You might also consider not using the scorpion venom. Products like this can cause the serving to slip. All you need is a good wax applied to the serving. I’d also send the trigger back to TT for polishing. I’ve never been happy with the condition of my latches from the factory and I’ve owned 2 TTs.

What is this “off-season” you speak of? Turkey season starts in about 100 days and 3D shoots start before that! :eusa-dance:

Re: Excalibur TwinStrike Crossbow

Thinking back on this past season. I had a buck come by at 40 yards and I used the 20 yard pin!! Duh!!!! The arrow went under the deer. It just stood there for a minute then walked away. :( If I had a second arrow I would have composed myself and used the correct pin!!! I’ve had enough op...

Re: Custom “Excaliburky 415”

This is the type of sceltonized product that l always say excalibur should produce . Start out with a drilled rail lightest possible guts etc. And give us options of 🪵 stocks/ plastic stocks / carbon stocks etc. So we can "customize " them as we wish. Hunters have been customizing since ....

That is a beauty! First bow i have seen that might even make my Kayla bow jealous! Do you hunt with it or target only?
I will definitely hunt with this bow someday but it’s primarily going to get used as a backup and target bow.
