Re: Excalibur friends helping each other
Shout out to XcaliburFX. Thanks My 405 developed an issue with the action becoming a little loose inside the rail. Not a serious problem but I thought it may cause a problem long range. Called my buddy XcaliburFX and he explained there may be a couple screws loose inside the rail. Took the stock of...

Re: new website
PhpBB has almost infinite customizations and color schemes to be used. I have built many forums and still run one now, you can actually have a choice of scheme box where the members can choose different color schemes to suit their viewing needs. Just some examples of PhpBB choices etc https://www.ph...

Re: Built a semi-portable target stand
Design shamelessly stolen. Well done. What bag is that and where did you get it. Nice job. :D Hank It is the Hurricane H25 target, this is the second one I have had, (Dan) xcaliber turned me on to them a couple years ago. Ordered mine from Amazon. Comes in 3 sizes H21 = 20x20x10, H25 =25x...

Re: Built a semi-portable target stand
Very nice , may just make me one . always moven my shooting bench but that seems to be a lot nicer. Does it move on impact? W.M. No movement at all, the swing of the hanging bag helps absob the impact, as well as the 1" rubber pads I put on the front seem to hold the stand in place well with a...

Re: Built a semi-portable target stand
Thanks guys, the boards were old pressure treated boards I had that were probably 20 yrs old at least, so they were a bit twisted etc. However, they worked out fine once I cut and screwed them all together. Added wheels to the back from and old garbage can and rubber snubbers to the front bottom , s...

Built a semi-portable target stand
Hung my new Crossbow Bag on a (semi-portable) target stand I threw together out of some old scrap PT lumber, so it isn't perfect by any means. However, it should be good for archery or gun. BTW, I am of course talking about the target stand holding cardboard for gun sighting, ... not the bag for gun...

Re: BOOFEST!!! ... On my Bucket list for sure!! :)
.....Vic, no one really knows the adversity I experienced this year leading up to Boofest....I think what kept me in the game was the "countdown"....all I can say is the $ spent this past week getting there and being there is far less than a psychiatrist and has much more of a lasting ben...

Re: for those who know Dagriz
You have my thoughts and prayers! I know it is rough, my wife had a massive stroke in 2004, but the Lord (with a lot of prayer and work from her) has gotten her back to about 85% of a full recovery. Just do not stop my friend, keep keeping on ... that is what the wife does despite me telling her to ...

Re: Name Widow Maker ?
Named my 380 BO Black Widow after the Scarlett Johansson Avenger character.
Named my 355 Xtra Little Sheba after the 38 Special song of the same name.
Had thought about Widow Maker, but went with the other name.
Good choice Mike!
