My hunting partner took this very shot last season on the biggest buck he has ever seen and it all happened so fast that he was not 100% sure where the arrow hit and did not get a pass through. The initial blood trail was good but eventually thinned out as it approached a swamp about 700 yards away....

Groundpounder Mount and Red Dot Scopes
I can't seem to find a definitive answer on whether or not the Groundpounder mount interferes with the field of view of a red dot scope. Are there any red dot scope users using one of these quiver mounts?

Range Finders
I want to get a range finder before the season starts and I'd like to stay around the $200 price range. For that price I have found a Nikon Pro Staff 550, a Leupold RX-600, and a Bushnell Sport 600 at Bass Pro. They also have a Brunton Echo for $100 on clearance but I go on the principle of you get ...
