Re: Black plastic flat nocks for aluminum 2216 Easton arrows

Hi Paul, I am plinking only. I'm a senior citizen and had a stroke and don't hunt anymore. I am using black vanes and would prefer the black flat plastic nocks. I'm shooting a Phoenix and Vixen and Vixen II and am using 20 inch 2216 aluminum arrows. Who has the black plastic nocks for aluminum arrow...

Re: leupold 1-4X20 vs 2-7X33

Either one will work well. I am putting a Leupold 2-7X33 heavy duplex scope on my Matrix 350 SE. I've been using the scope on at least 8 muzzleloaders, shotguns and a couple of Excalibers and I like it. Maybe my old eyes or maybe familiarization, in any case, it's the one for me. Thanks to a fellow ...

For us old geezers that just a blink of the eye. What does everyone else have to say? Thanks.

Re: Tick tick tick tick

sproulman,
I wish you a speedy recovery! For what it's worth I decided against cedarcide and went for the Sawyers. They have a lot of different repellants so you need to look before you buy. Again, I hope you get well soon.

Re: Vixen vs. Vixen II - Help a Brother Out

I would be happy with a tag that said Matrix 350.

Re: ADF

Dan Miller told me to use blue loc tite so that's what I'm using. If you have clear nail polish just use it and don't worry.

Re: Tick tick tick tick

I just found some spray-on cedar oil that is safe for humans and pets. Check it out for yourself. Tick Shield Tactical by Cedarcide. It says it has a strong cedar smell to it, but it works. They also have one for small pets. Google Cedarcide or Tick Shield Tactical by Cedarcide.

Re: Rifle scopes on xbows

I've been using a Leupold shotgun/muzzle loader scope (2-7x33 heavy duplex) on an Excalibur with good success. Try calling Dan Miller (Excalibur Rep USA) 740-483-2312 for more info.

Re: Tick tick tick tick

What is good for kids? My 3 year old grandson plays outside in the grass for hours. My daughter and son-in-law check him, but protection from ticks is needed. Thanks! Bob UPDATE: I just found some stuff on Amazon from Sawyer in a blue package with 20% Picaridin. OK to use on skin. I have to have my...
