Or swap out the mainframe from a 335 or 315bellerivercrossbowhunter wrote:Nope that would increase the power stroke and actually make it worse. A lower brace height is also bad news for limbs. The only alternative is to shorten the mainframe by a machinist..

They all shoot fast enough to kill deer reliably with well placed shots. That's what's really important.

Re: 350SE Limbs Question
I've never heard of anyone that wasn't less than thrilled with the 350. I would buy it, and not worry. Excalibur stands behind their products anyway, so you shouldn't have any concerns.

Re: Recovery Rates With Crossbow
I'm at 100%, but am an accomplished marksman, and careful with my shots. I feel very strongly that you should not be pulling the trigger if you aren't 100% sure of your ability, your equipment, and the shot you are preparing to make. To be fair, I'm also not hunting in really thick cover. I can usua...

Re: Width??? Has it been a problem?
The wider models were never an issue. But when the Matrix and Micro came out I convinced myself to upgrade because they were narrow and I needed that...lol Me too! I went from an ExoMag to a Micro, and wow what a difference. I've added a couple of Matrix bows to the collection, and think I'll stay ...

Re: ALWAYS Check Your Broadheads for POI
Well stated. When shooting at an animal, you owe it to them to be 100% sure of your zero, and your ability to make a humane, killing shot. If you aren't 100%, you shouldn't be pulling the trigger.

Re: TactZone Scope Issue
FWIW, I returned a Tactzone with the same problem. If the crossshairs were clear, the entire field of view was blurry. If you cleared up the field of view, the crosshairs were hopelessly blurry. The scope I received was much clearer, but won't hold a zero. It will go back as well. I put a Hawke SR o...

My Brother-in-Law is prophesizing a "Walmartization" of hunting and shooting-related sporting goods. I sure hope he's wrong.

Re: Micro vs Matrix
The Matrix 330 and Micro 335 both provide substantially the same performance. I have both, and as time goes on, I'm liking the 330 more. The Micro is a very tight, nice little package, but I just shoot the 330 better. I can cock my Micro without any problems, but not everyone can due to a variety of...

Re: micro is ready to rock!!
Nice!
My Micro wouldn't shoot to the same zero with the spare riser I bought, so it let it go. Glad to see someone else could make it work!
The QAD Exodus heads are some penetrating heads!!
