Re: Matrix 380 sometimes doesn't cock all the way
Correct! Excaliburs will not cock in the “safe” position. Set the safety to fire, cock the bow, then set to safe.

Re: Custom arrows?
I may have typed before my brain caught up. What I meant was that it looked that way. I also was thinking the AAE fletching jig! NOT the Aerovane Jig! I’m guilty of foot in mouth on occasion! I would love the laser guiged jig but that is only in my dreams of buying it with my lottery winnings!

Re: Custom arrows?
I recently bought everything needed to do my own custom arrows. The price is very steep to start with but will be regained 10 fold over the future years! If you really want to do your own arrows, I suggest not to go cheap! I don’t like tower jigs, I’m in no hurry and that’s about the only advantage ...

Re: New Project
It looks shiny in the pictures but as the parts dry they are becoming a flat black with a matte Finish clear coat! Will have the project finished in another 48-72 hours. Will upload new pics of the finished project! Can’t wait to see it all dried and all put back together!

New Project
Got tired of looking at my Pink Vixen II so this weekend I started a new project. She will no longer be pink! Going complete blackout for hunting from my blinds! Looking good so far! Getting ready to give it the final coats of the matte clear top coat. Thank goodness that I have a backup bow! http:/...

Awesome job robertyb! One less yote to contend with! That pic there looks just as good as a 12 point buck to me!

Re: Decoy types
Joe I just bought the Flambeau Master Buck decoy too from SG! I think it looks better than the Primos Scar Buck decoy. I think it feels like a better made pvc decoy and more lifelike. It was also almost $35 cheaper with my club discount and $10 coupon!

Re: Has the rut started yet in your area?
Here in central area (Ripon) they are just starting chasing! Pre-Rut is definitely on! They are going to be in full rut way before gun this season so keep the bow going! Good luck!

Re: What's a shooter to you?
Your lucky riflemanz! Here in central farmland zone there were only 82 extra doe tags available for Fondy county! I only got 1 buck and 1 doe for bow, 1 buck and 1 doe for gun and smokepole combined! Already took one huge doe and looking for one more for this season! I probably won’t get a buck agai...

Re: What's a shooter to you?
I fill my freezer on venison from mostly does. Made a few mistakes on button bucks but they still tasted good! A shooter buck for me is 4 years or older and the antler size doesn’t matter to me.

Danny’s Price List
Does anyone have an updated price and inventory list for Danny Miller? I tried finding a post about it but can’t find anything. Thank you for any help!

Re: Another camera stole.
Another solution that really is relatively cheap compared to having to buy new equipment is RFID chips with GPS built into the chip! I install them on all my outdoor equipment, blinds, stands and trail cameras! I have had the disgust of having my stands & cameras stolen in the past on my own far...

Re: Ex shoks
I would just add the S5 String Suppressors and forget the Ex-Shox! I have a brand new Vixen II and installed the S5s first and they reduced vibration and quieted down the bow a lot! Added the Ex-Shox and never noticed any difference. Now The string seems to either land squarely on the Ex-Shox or som...

I used to use Spitfires but have since switched to Shwackers, Hypodermics and NAP Swingblades. I like bigger cutting area with bigger blood trails!
