Re: Strata Version vs The Original Assassin Differences ????

No air brakes or case. Other than that there is no difference. I like the Strata camo a lot.

Re: Took the plunge on a Scorpyd DS 380

I have a 130 lb and a 115 lb. I've had troubles getting acceptable consistently with the 130 but the 115 is a charmer. Norm gave me some nocks and a cable slide to try so we shall see. The troubled one is the first generation that had no arrow support at the reat of the mainframe and the 115 has su...

Re: Took the plunge on a Scorpyd DS 380

IMO the DS is one of the best compound hunting bows you can own. Extremely light weight and plenty accurate. They are also very easy on servings.

Re: The Horizontal Zone...The Excalibur AXE 340

I screwed those 125 practice heads on my Proflight arrows today. Took three shots to dial the bow in. Gotta love that!

Great review , I already had one before the review I got the non dealer only version . I could not agree with you more only difference is you are using 125 Gr Broad heads and I am using 100.
All I’m doing is putting a little weight up front. Excal hit it out of the park with this bow

I am interested in what the premium trigger is? Let us know when you get yours please, I might have room for one more. :eusa-deadhorse:
Trigger is a good one. It’s not the ACP so I’d say a very good Micro Trigger. Not creep and breaks clean. Good hunting trigger.

Re: So who has an Axe to grind?

My AXE 340 dealer edition arrived yesterday. Good luck finding a better value than this bow! The smaller riser can for sure be felt. Even with the Air Brakes there is very little front end weight. I can’t speak for every trigger, but the one on mine is a good one. The bow is not bad to hand cock (Mi...

I always use a 30yd zero. Roughly 2” high at 20 and 4” low at 40.
