Re: Anyone up for Boo Stock this year?
I must be missing something. I am 62, born and raised in the USA. What the heck is a "Permanent resident card"? They must have forgot to issue me one.

Nope, what do you think of the eclipse Boo?
Thanks for the post. I have been undecided on getting a cheek piece but you just made up my mind for me. Thanks.

Re: first law restricting hunting
Look up the "Black Act of 1723".
And I thought we had strict laws.

Re: Realtree's monster bucks deer POACHED
I have seen many a Man of the Cloth violate laws over the 34 years I worked in enforcement. Some seem to take the attitude that man's laws do not pertain to them. They are no different than anyone else. Ethics is simply doing the right thing even when you know that no body else is watching.

Re: What Do Your Licenses Cost?
I have had a lifetime license for years now in Georgia. Covers all hunting and fishing except Federal Duck Stamps. $500.00 for life.
Not sure about nonresident prices.

Re: munch mount problem
That is what I thought. I just tried to measure mine. Just over an 1/8" of clearance. Grab it and pull it up a little.bellasboss wrote:i have absolutely no clearance between the bottom of the spring and the barell. This is how it came.>>????????????????

Re: munch mount problem
How much clearance do you have between the spring and the barrel? You should have about 1/4" looking at mine. My arrows silde in with no pressure hardly at all.bellasboss wrote:if i bend the tip up won't this increase the angle of contact and make it harder to bend up and the arrow to slip under???

Re: munch mount problem
I bought a new vortex three weeks ago and put a Munch mount on the other day and have no problems loading the Firebolts at all. Sounds like your retention spring is not positioned correctly. Bend that sucker up a tad.

Re: Guys help me out, I'm torn
My thoughts as I recently went through the same thing and bought a Vortex instead of an Axiom were that I was looking at less than a $100 difference. I was getting the metal rails instead of composit material and also getting an adjustable scope upgrade over the Axiom and the D bars. I got my packag...

Re: taking the hunter education course
Wabi, That's a great idea. Some states out west require a card to get a license. I know Colorado did the last time i went after elk. they require a Hunters ed course here is Ga too..I never had to show the card but i think you are supposed to have it if the game warden asks.. I am pretty sure it is...

Re: String for the Axiom
I know where you are coming from. I recently turned 62 and have been shooting an Excal a tad less than a month now but learning a little here and there thanks to the good folks on this forum. I actually spent most of my money in years past on wine, women and song. But I did pretty much just waste th...

Re: Feel bad for this guy.
It looks like he might be teaching his son that it is OK to bring a crossbow to a gunfight. There is an arrow in the air headed for the muzzle.
