Re: Re Dot sights

200$ is a good budget but dont know of red dots with different reticles unless its the cheapest imports on ebay that i wouldnt trust. i have tried quite a few. the Bushnell TRS25 is a good budget red dot but the 3moa size dot for me was a little on the big size and covered too much of the target. it...

Re: What Turkey Call For A Beginner?

Re: Check out this deal

great deal thanks for the heads up! the claws in the back might be an issue in my state. damage to trees is a ticket offense. the early (20 plus years ago) ladder stands use to have points on the back bars like that. the stands ive left in all year i leave a little room for the tree to grow in the o...

Re: Compound Crossbows

if you get one with a good track record and set up properly and know what to look for i see them pretty darn reliable. i dont hunt with compound verticles or crossbows anymore but they can get pricey especially if your changing strings and cables. thats why i dont use them anymore. if your replacing...

Re: First Use of The Hawk Crawler

i dont grab it by the wheel axel . i tried from the sides and it chomps down on you like a crazy carnival ride....there should probably be a locking pin but guess i can always add one. not sure if this thing will be used that much anyway. my plastic sled is light as a feather and i get to leave it l...

Re: First Use of The Hawk Crawler

Re: New 2020 Bows!

watched the videos.im sure the limbs will be just fine. not sure why they think being able to take down a bow is a feature everyone wants. i never even think of it although on long trips i keep a broken down Mega 405 for backup. i find putting it together not an issue. the weight of those 400 models...

Re: Bow Accident, What Next?

never had a issue with quills.i have nicer arrows too but i think there fine for hunting. they have the 3 white vanes so you just rotate and mark an x with a sharpie on the odd vane when you get them to group close. the biggest thing i see is shooting the actual arrow your using with your broadhead ...

Re: Should I doctor Scrapes

although scrapes can be productive ive found other than being excited finding them you can spend alotta time sitting on them. i believe the scientific reports show that they mostly visit them in the dark. best to find the does. if theres a hot one in the area and they pass thru you can bet a buck wi...
