Re: Shipping a scope to Canada
They are also randomly flagging scope and ammo purchases made in the U.S. by Canadian credit cards and waiting for the people at the border. How exactly would the US border patrol be notified if someone paid for a scope by credit card and the purchaser hit the border shortly thereafter? Do the cash...

Re: The original Exocet
I believe the 165lb models all had cast risers, and when the switch was made to machined, the poundage jumped up to 175.

Re: Arizona ez fletch "bolt"
Just saw it at the Bass Pro store in Toronto for $64.99. Seems a bit pricey but they are available here in Canada. I was in there about a month ago and didn't see one. Asked a salesman where they might be and was told they don't carry them. :?: Cheapest online place to get one that I found (shippin...

Re: Arizona E-Z Fletch Bolt
I had previously checked the Archer's Nook website, but found the model I'm looking for is not listed. I'll give them a call I guess. Thanks.

Arizona E-Z Fletch Bolt
Does anyone know a shop that carries these around southern ONT? Checked some places on line, but they don't stock them. Places I've found in the USA want ridiculous prices for shipping, or use UPS (which I avoid like the plague for international shipping). Thanks.

You want either the endless loop dacron (Excalibur # 2010) or the flemish dacron (Excalibur #2097).

Re: Processing your own deer
A lot can be said for processing your own deer. But, if time and/or space inhibit your ability to get the job done, a butcher may be necessary. As well, a lot of hunters don't want to be bothered doing it themselves.

Re: Piece of my Excalibur equiptment I hate the most.
Danny Miller's mount is a very light alternative. It's cheap and very efficient. It goes across the front of the bow so you can still manipulate the arrow. Plus it's cheap! Guess which quiver mount Bill used when he whacked an Elephant? If I had to have a quiver on my bow that would be the one. I w...

I use a ComfyBear custom string I purchased some time back. Normal concern for me is the longevity of the serving.

Re: conservative agenda / long gun registry
They already had a bill and although it didn't pass before, why do they need to take another 4 months to write it again? Nobody kept a copy? I guess they just want to waste time and money registering another few hundred thousand guns prior to the next hunting season. The original bill dealt with th...

Re: Grain scale question.
If you can find a scale in grams that has a resolution to 2 or 3 decimal places, you can easily do the conversion using a factor of 1 gram = 15.4323584 grain. That is what I do. My scale is not in grains, but I trust it. I have access to calibrated weights at work that I use to check my scale period...
