I see nothing wrong with taking multiple deer as long as they don't go to waste. If I wounded a Deer and didn't recover it yes I would use my tag, but I keep my shots close and only take shots that should turn into a sure kill, so this hasn't been a issue for me.

As far as that space between the riser and the rail I don't think you can stop it from happening. It's caused by the forward motion (momentum) of the string I only opens up about a 16th of a inch then that's it. Doesn't hurt anything.

I have Leupold crossbones scopes on a vortex and a exocet. They are mounted in Leupold low rifleman rings and I hardly had to adjust the elevation on either scope. The Rifleman rings are less than 20 dollars most everywhere, get the ones that have a horizontal split just like your excalibur rings. T...
