Seniors currently can fish for free here, but that is also being changed in the very near future. They will have to started buying licenses again, at a reduced senior rate.

Re: Axiom scope adjustments

The scope is matched to the advertised speed of the bow, therefore no speed adjustment is provided. As is, setting the crosshairs at 20 should result in the 30, 40, and 50 yard chevrons being on at those yardages.

Re: "Dental Bands"

Heck, why bother to order online? Just stop in at your dentist next time you're out and about and get some. The majority of dentists in the US do not do orthodontics. I happen to. SEW (MS,DDS) in Canada as well i should have specified i stopped in at an Orthodontic office I guess I never really too...

Re: Scored in South-West Ontario

Very nice. Only issue with getting it done on day one is that you have to wait 364 days until you can shoot another one. Don't believe there are any additional deer tags this year in most areas.

I also replaced mine with a mower cord of the same diameter. Works fine. Only difference is that it is now white instead of black.

Re: What Is Your Arra Recipe?

I am using the original Excalibur packaged GTII's. As they sit out of the box, they come in at 255 grains, give or take a couple for variation. I refletched using 2" Blazers. They reduced the weight by about ten grains. That leaves me at approximately 245 grains before adding a head. They have ...

Re: String Prices

Prices of every has gone up. It's all about supply and demand. In the end they reflect what folks can afford and are willing to pay. With strings in particular, not only has the cost of materials gone up, but labour cost has as well. The strings of yesteryear were mass produced and did not last as ...

String Prices

First off, I am not complaining or pointing fingers, but rather trying to get an understanding. I found a couple strings, still in the original Excal packaging, for carved tip bows, in my collection of accessories. I bought these around 2000-01, before mag tips were on the scene. Price tags are stil...

How many arrows do you have in your quiver? Probably only take one to make a point (no pun intended) to the wayward mutts.

Re: Good friend of mine hurt in tree stand fall

As I was in the Dick's sporting goods this past Sunday a good friend I have known for years comes over to me in a cast from his knee down to his foot. The worst part was he was also in an upper body cast or brace. Not to make lite of the subject, but what was he doing out shopping? Sounds like he w...

Re: Advice on used ATV price

The hours to miles ratio can be a good indicator of how the machine was used. Lots of miles with low hours indicates high speed operation. Lots of hours with low miles indicates low speed operation, which could mean one of two things: lots of idling time (i.e. farm use) or slow plodding through mud ...

Depends what type of mount you want. I have a couple of Danny Miller mounts that are parallel with my limbs. Others are available that are parallel with the deck.
