Re: Brown Vixen
When the deer hide brown color was introduced across the entire Excalibur line, all the bows still had the straight machined risers. At least that is what I recall. I have a deer hide brown Exomag with that riser.

Re: Regret selling my carved tip exocet
Not quite sure what everyone is lamenting. My first bow was a new 165lb Exocet, carved tips, cast riser. When mag tip limbs and carbon arrows became available, I upgraded to both. With the changes, it chronographed at an even 300 fps with that set up. Never noticed any change in accuracy. I have sin...

Re: broadheads and fieldpoints
If you are using arrows with brass inserts, there is really no need to use a 125 grain head. The brass insert more than makes up for the gain of a 125 grain broadhead with a regular insert in regard to FOC. With Gold Tip arrows, a brass insert will net you about 90 grains of weight over a typical in...

I am a long time Cowboys fan (insert boo here), but jumped on the Packer band wagon when the playoffs started. Even with my unlucky charm, they still win.

Re: Ontario numbers down
Oddly this year I am seeing more than ever here, what I am not seeing is the scraps and rubs that should be accompanying them. Been muzzle loading this week, and Monday to Friday I saw 2 deer. Saturday morning I saw 10. Today, I saw 4 this morning. Also, there are new scrapes that didn't exist 2 da...
