Re: Serving gaps

Your string shouldn't be worn like that . . .I can understand the seraration in the serving, but, something's happening with the string . . .just 40 shots? Looks like the string is hitting something . . .you using a cocking aid, and hooking the serving, right? By the way, those tips are part of the ...

Re: Spitfire

Any dentist should have dental elastics. A kind request should net you a dozen or so for free. The last Dentist I went too gave me a 250 pack free. That's how I got my last pack. And, I'd be careful . . .you can put too many on, then the blades could remain closed. In the testing I did, it only too...

Re: Spitfire

I use dental elastics on all my mechanicals, even my Spitfires. The thing with the Spitfires and the Innerlocs(neither company could tell me how many shots before they fail) . . .they are spring loaded, sooner or later, the spring will weaken. The dental elastics are about the best rubberbands on ea...

Re: Swhacked!

Good shooting Mike!

I would say the non pass is a fluke. Probably has something to do with the bent blade. As long as they are dropping within 30 yards, who needs a blood trail? :)

Re: Tunning Bh's to arrows

I just figure the more you can make consistent from arrow to arrow, the better. If you make a simple spine finder, you will find that not all arrows are built the same - and even the carbons have differences between them. And I have made good flyers out of some bad flyers by doing this. I see how t...

Re: Very Scary

The deer doesn't looked spooked. Forget about the camo, we should all dress like scary little girls.

I think your buddy wants that blind all to himself. And he can have it.

Re: Tunning Bh's to arrows

I see the spinner question has been answered. Fixed broadheads require some spin from your fletchings . . .I haven't really seen or heard of any difference in left or right . . .just can't do straight unless you are shooting indoors or on a windless day. I fooled around with lining up vanes with bla...

Re: Tunning Bh's to arrows

I been lucky ,. Not really . . .I've found that if your tiller is good, then your arrows do not require tuning. If your tiller is off . . .then all the tuning in the world will not help. Anyways . . .the crossbow's tiller eliminates the need to tune your arrows. If your arrows are off, then it's us...
