Has anyone used turkey decoys to calm the deer down? When im turkey hunting and have the decoys out the deer appear to be curious and come to them. I was thinking of trying them.

I also would like to know what to do. I have tried calling, rattling all to no avail. I think i scare them off more times than actually calling them in. Always trying to learn more.

What type of hounds are you running? I have had a foxhound, and bluetick walker mixes but my current beagle is by far the best one i've ever had.

Thanks R.J. I have always enjoyed your pictures. The conditions were poor but the subjects great. I am still learning with my new camera and lens. I hope to get the quality of shots that you post!

It was raining yesterday and the power was out so we decided to take a quick drive to a great area for wildlife. I didnt expect to see all these species in 1 hour. It is the first time that i have ever heard an Elk bugle. This shot of the bull was taken right while he was doing it. The buck suprised...
