Gold tip Swift 396
Saw some at Walmart but not on clearance yet. Will they work ok with my 330? They had brass inserts.

Re: busted in ground blind
Least amount of windows open and the darker the clothes you wear the better off you will be. I have a cheap walmart blind and a Barnett Ox5. I have hunted many years out of them and killed many deer from a ground blind. I love using heaters too when it’s cold. But don’t use it first thing in the mor...

Re: Slick Trick Questions
I used the 100 grain SS Standards last year and killed my buck with them. He died very quickly and left a decent amount of blood on the ground. In the past when I used them with a compound and hadn’t been as large of a blood trail. They are very accurate. Blades seem to always be buggered up after I...

Re: Worked in the woods today
I went back today to get the tree that ate my chainsaw blade the last time I was in the woods. I am no lumberjack so I give trees a big deal of respect. The tree I had worked on had fallen from a storm. It was wedged between two trees and blocked my entrance and would hamper me later if I killed a d...

Re: Water Holes for Deer
I have thought about using kid size pools but I don’t know if I will be in the gray area when comes to baiting laws here in Indiana. I would like to put two of them out. Just use rain to fill them. Make a call to Indiana DNR and ask, make sure you get the name of the official you spoke with, just i...

I have a couple bridges by the house. When the leaves are gone you can see one of them. I guarantee that you have been very close to my house. You have prolly drove right by where I hunt.

Re: Worked in the woods today
It was just a sprinkle. Not even enough to knock the dust down on the gravel road.
I cleared a lot of area with the sickle. I don’t know how they did it back in the 1700’s. That stuff wore me out.
