That is what I figured but thank you for the confirmation sir.

Re: B.E ZOMBIE SLAYERS

Is the importance of having your cock vane located in relation to the arrow spine lessened with the increased stiffness of the zombie slayers? I have shot executioners in the past with outstanding results from my Ibex but looking for something a little stiffer for my Equinox.

Anybody know offhand what a Boo or Danny Miller trigger job runs on a stock trigger?

Get yourself some Slick Trick Magnums and you won't have any reason to look back. Best broadhead out there in my opinion.

Re: Oklahoma hog hunt

I can tell you we paid too much for what we got from the outfitter but the time with friends made up for that. Where do you normally go in Oklahoma Mike? One of the guys I was with has been to Shiloh and had a good experience there, except the hornets in the outhouse.

Oklahoma hog hunt

Spent the weekend in Oklahoma hog hunting a couple of weeks ago. Went with a couple of buddies to No Mercy Hunting Services in Gracemont OK. Had a great time with friends but we won't be going back there again. We covered the entire 160 acre enclosure several times over two days and didn't see a sin...

Congrats on the turkey and thanks for the pictures. I love the close up of the spur. On your picture with the turkey hanging by the woodshed, how do you keep the tail fan from flopping down? I had to lay mine out on a log because I couldn't get the hanging picture to turn out.

Finally got my first turkey

I was finally able to take my first turkey on Saturday morning. I have been out about 6-8 times already this season and they just wouldn't cooperate. Finally got in the perfect spot for the group to work their way towards me and gave this poor dude a shot of lead to the head. Was an awesome time and...

Maybe you should buy the pan thrower something nice in the next couple of days before the package arrives.

Re: hunting partner out of commission

I think he was playing it up with the face but he had just woke up from being under when I took the picture. He actually broke the same arm last summer in a similar accident and yes, he definitely lives close to the edge. Makes me worry what his teenage years will be like. He was actually talking la...

Re: State to state laws

Nebraska changed to full inclusion of crossbows during archery season a few years ago but previous to that you had to have a doctor form filled out and filed with the Nebraska Game and Parks to be issued the crossbow medical exception permit.

hunting partner out of commission

So we had an unfortunate mishap last night. My 5 year old son and hunting partner took a spill in the park and broke his arm pretty bad. This will actually be his second time with his arm in a cast. Was a long evening in the hospital and a rough morning today. We won't know if it will need surgery f...
