Re: Well I did it

They're a little heavier than the black nocks that came with the arrows, so I glued 1/2" #10/32 set screws (eBay) into the original nocks on my practice arrows so they're the same weight. This is a great idea. Saves a lot of wear and tear on your lighted nocks. Just make sure they are glued in...

Re: new to Crossbows

For deer and turkey sized game I wouldn't get too caught up on the speed thing. My Ibex shooting a 410 grain arrow at about 295 fps blows right through deer with no issue at hunting distances. If you are looking for something to do long range target shooting with, then that changes priorities a bit....

Yeah, unfortunately percentages tend to lean towards those in the area that know what's going on and when to take advantage. Makes it even worse when something like this happens and you end up knowing the person.

Re: O T Theif

How well do you know your neighbors Mike? It just sounds awfully suspicious that this person was out there in the rain and happened upon your place. Sounds to me like whoever did this knew the coolers would be there as soon as they saw your vehicle at the cabin.

Re: Cabelas 20" Stalker XBolt Arrows

I've used them with my Ibex and a Wicked Ridge Invader and while they worked ok, I was never quite satisfied with their accuracy. For about the same money you can get the Black Eagle Executioners and I have been way happier with those.

The video looks pretty impressive. I retract my previous statement.

Haven't shot em but they look pretty cool. Not sure how durable they would be.

Re: magnus bullhead broadheads

Do you use the bullheads? I haven't yet and not sure if I will get around to trying them out this year or not but will eventually. I don't really want to go to that long of an arrow to clear my stirrup so when I do, I will be removing my S5's and going to a rope stirrup or building an offset bracke...

Re: Black Eagle arrows for Equinox

Figured they would be fine just wanted some reassurance. Getting antsy waiting for it to arrive so I thought I'd get a few new accessories on the way as well.

Black Eagle arrows for Equinox

Purchasing a used Equinox to add to the stable and wondering about arrows for the beast. I shoot Black Eagle Executioners in my Ibex and they perform beautifully. I will be ordering some new arrows for the Equinox as I will be stepping up the arrow weight. Wanting to know opinions on if the Executio...

Re: magnus bullhead broadheads

The alternative would be to switch out to a rope stirrup for turkey season.

I'm still kicking around weather I even want to try what I have envisioned or just go all out and buy one of your quiver mounts and camera mount. I'll message you if I have any questions or if I want to explore the delrin rods.
