I have not noticed a difference between the .003" & .001" Either one of the BEE or Zombies would work great with the Axiom. I personally like the Zombies better for the extra stiffness, and it is more noticeable on the longer bolts.

The speed seems right, I have a few friends that own 380, one is Lynx, the other camo, both are just a tad under advertised speeds with Flemish strings on both. Grab the scope mount with the bow let down, and give it some tugging, it should not budge. Then make sure the rail screw is tight as well. You can put an allen wrench in behind the trigger latches with the bow down, and see if there is any play there as well. If the sound just developed all of a sud...
