Although I'm personally opposed to using bait to attract animals in order to kill them, I agree with Stash that the "baiting" referred to in this bill is the practice of baiting animals to fight one another.

Nuisance Wild Turkey Removal Authorizations

I'm a member of the Grenville Fish and Game Club (GF&GC), and this has come to our attention chiefly through the efforts of one of our members - Darcy Alkerton. In his letters, Darcy is recommending certain actions with respect to this problem that I'd appreciate it if you'd all consider joining...

Here in Canada, we often see Starbuck's stores inside Chapter's book stores, and Chapter's / Indigo / Coles is known to be anti-gun. I don't know if there's a corporate relationship between the two companies, but it appears that there is.

Fletch and Duber: I may miss the conclusion of the naming process since I'm going on my next bowhunt for moose in two days, but if Duber's not from rural Ottawa I'd suggest "The Bambi Whackers". If he is, we might look for some local naming convention like "Oppressed in Ottawa" o...

fletch:

I'm from the 'tick and no one seems to want me on their team, so if you want we could be part of an Ottawa south team - we just won't drive on Albion road to get to meetings.

I'm going over to a buddy's wednesday night to spend the night so we can get up before the crack of dawn and head out thursday. Six of us are going to zone 24 north of Kapuskasing with a cow and a bull tag. The season opens on saturday.

Lonewolf: It was the organizers who made the mistake. Based upon the one day event thet the Beasleys ran last year, they assumed it would be the same this year and stated that in the advertising. Since they're holding the event a week earlier this year, both Rick and I are available (no conflicts wi...

Many times over the years I've seen these threads asking if I'm a trophy hunter or a meat hunter - and my usual answer is "NO". I hunt because I love to hunt, and any meat or trophy I may get is merely a bonus. The time spent in the bush, the "quest" the cameraderie of camp are a...

About 10 days ago I fell and broke a rib in my back. Today I put the rope cocker on my exomag and applied a little pressure - no way! Luckily a fellow I met on the web lent me one he was no longer using, and I tried it out. It's great! I still have a lot of practicing before I'm adept with it, but i...
