Shoot from a rest. (Rock steady) and only shoot the same arrow not all 4. That way you know theres no diversity between bolts. After sighting in then try the others.

A stock excaliber bolt with a 145 grain boltcutter and 30 grain inserts is like 175 grain total. You are still over the factory foc. You are fine. People are shooting the xact with the 30 grain inserts and getting away with it. (Granted its a really whimpy foc l would not do it. )

I believe its just a snap fit but maby its got a little glue also. Maby do a tug of war with a friend . I also like the longer old style quivers . I saw one at a bass pro on vacation last year and snatched it up.

I had a sub 75 shot factory standard excalibur string break on my 330 a few years back. Not a dry fire either.lt happens.
