About inserts...
A few stupid question about front-inserts, because i just don't know a thing about it... I want to change my front insert. Heavier inserts makes more KE and more accuracy, if i'm right. 1. What are the choises in weight? 2. What is the weight of the original insert of the excal firebolt? 3. Is it al...

Re: Question
Thanks for the information Boo and Stormdragon! Skorpyd has now also smaller bows (if i'm right) so the weight must be down also. The strange thing is: last week i was looking for problems / issues with the Skorpyd bow to see how reliable it is - but i have found just a few. Is this bow such a good ...

Question
I hope you guys don't kick me out for this question, but how do you members think about the Skorpyd crossbow?
Reliability / accuracy / etc....all opinions and experiences are welcome...
(P.s.: Excalibur rules!)

Re: Training on large distances.
All thanks for giving such a nice reaction and information.
I forgot: i'm shooting with firebolts & 150 grain fieldpoints. If find the 20 inch better then the 18 inch diablo, when looking to accuracy.
Seems not to be a lot of people on this forum who likes to shoot on large distances.

Training on large distances.
Maybe it sounds a littlebit crazy for the most of you over here, but i only(!) shoot crossbow on targets and especially like the fun of shooting on large distances. So, i don't hunt with it. In fact: i can't shoot a deer or whatever, because i'm to weakharted for that. Next to this: I like eating me...

Re: Parallax Free Question
I hope i can explain this in English, but i will give it a try. On some (the more expensive) scopes you also have a parralax adjustment knob for different distances. How to understand this parralax adjustment: If you're looking straight through your scope - the reticle is right between you and the p...

Re: 405, 380, micro
The 405 I had last year went through 4 sets of limbs before I returned it for my Nightmare Micro.. Limbs would splinter in different spots. I was shooting 438 grain completed BEE's out of mine and brace was always maintained.... Both my Micro's have been trouble free since I bought them last year M...

Re: 405, 380, micro
Are they truly broken limbs one might ask. Some might be just a splinter showing up. A laminated limb that would be a great reason for concern. But Excalibur limbs are a different story in comparison. In the first month of owning my micro 335 I had a 2" splinter that I'm sure I could have just...

405, 380, micro
On an other xbow forum someone start this topic: 'lets start a post of the excals that aren't broke' I personally think there is just a little percentage of 405, 380 and micro who had broken limbs. But this topic had many reactions, but till so far not one positive reaction from a 405, 380 and micro...

Re: Black vs. Camo
I would like to see more black crossbows in the Matrix line.
Maybe camouflage is in more cases practicle while hunting, but i (personally) like the looks of the black bows much more.
I vote for a black Bulldog - would be a very pretty bow!

Tactzone scope & Matrix Bulldog
I was planning to trade my Tactzone with the Twilight DLX, because i have some problems with the Tactzone and after been reading on the internet i found out i was not the only one. Now i see the Tactzone on the new Bulldog crossbow. So, now i wonder: was the Twilight not(!) a better scope than the T...

Re: Shooting all over
I believe the others are correct; its likely a scope issue. The only other reason for which I've experienced a similar frustration was with a bad batch of new arrows. On a few of the arrows the glue had let go at the back end of a vane. As a result, accuracy randomly went from perfect to erratic, d...

Re: Shooting all over
Thank you Hank. Today i tried it again (still with the HHA on it) and the first 30 shots were perfect (at 20, 60, 80, 100 yards) and went back to 80 and 60 and still no problems at all. After this (around) 30 shots all next shots went 10 inches (at 60 yards) to the right. Strange....these suddenly ...
