Congrats on a nice buck and welcome to the club. I wish I could experience what you did again. It was long ago and I still remember it clearly. I envy you. Enjoy your tasties. Just out of curiosity, what are those green vines that your buck crashed into?

Re: Bow level
I just dismantled an old torpedo level and epoxied the bare level to my riser. Works great. Looks professional and free!

Re: School Project with crossbow got shot down
I found the smartass comment funny. Your teacher has no sense of humor. You came close XB, but technically your teacher was right. You might have to dum it down and go with accepted examples. I do like your ideas though.

Re: Newbie Incoming!
Welcome to the forum. Look up making a bag target. Save the 18/1 for broadheads. Bag targets are free and easy to make. They will stop any arrow. Practice shooting with field points first. Then move to broadheads. Your field points will probably not shoot the exact same as a broadhead, so you'll hav...

Re: Well I finally did it.
I doubt a pipe cutter will work. Arrows need to be sawn. Pipe cutters will crimp the edges and wont allow the inserts to fit.
I also doubt it will be squared enough and will make grouping very difficult.

Re: Black Marks on Rail
Cotton sock turned inside so the terry cloth is outside and rub with thumb pressure , I do not want anything with a scent on my bow. Jig a loo will clean, smooth, and slick your rail with no residual smell. I've been using it for 7 years and my rail still looks new. Only problem is Canada only. Hank

Yup, not much point in buying Parker unless it's for spare parts. No warranty, no buy.

Deer hides
Can any of my Canadian brethren tell me where in Canada (preferably in B.C) I can buy raw untanned deer hides. I have invented a new product ( ) and am in the market. I buy locally 20.00 a hide but hunting season is over and I am out of stock with orders backing up. Help please? Thanks,

Re: Man cave complete
The deluxe man cave! You should put a sign over the door saying, "The Bone Yard". I'm not allowed to have antlers in the house anymore ever since the "incident".  Hank Go on... :eusa-think: Let's just say that a mulie rack magically jumped off the wall and viciously a...
