One thing this is not going to provide you is any kind of reassurance that a particular set up is going to result in a pass through. It's where you hit the animal that makes that happen. You can shoot a moose with a 40# stickbow and get a pass through. I've had pass thoughs on moose on many occasion...

Finger tight they come loose..........grip the arrow by the shaft with an arrow puller and tighten the FP with a pair of pliers.......they don't come loose. It'll test how secure your insert is too.......don't overtighten.

I never would have thought you were hunting in Kansas lol.......glad somebody else asked the question. I smacked quite a few with my car in S. Germany when I was stationed there. I drove through agricultural areas to/from home....they were a nuisance. Never pursued hunting them there though...

Your getting approx 13.5 lbs for every inch of draw length (180/13.25). I've been a member for about a month or so. It's been great to participate in the forum. This is a go-to place for anybody needing crossbow advise or comraderie.
