Re: Another look at 100 yard shooting
You are spot on with the thoughts on a relaxed deer looking away or down at the shot. If you look at a majority of deer "jumping the string" videos, they are watching the arrow or bolt coming at them, and they have been alert as well. They are watching and trying to duck that projectile c...

Re: 2018 ATA Show
Range it, dial it ,shoot it is no good, here is how the real world works you sit down you range a few trees memorize a few yardages and after many hours if it is your lucky day after many hunts with no harvest you get a buck in that is nervous walking at a good clip and you have about 3 seconds to ...

Re: 2018 ATA Show
It is a busy reticle for a hunting bow. However it looks pretty nice for target shooting, especially with the wind drift on there.

Re: Venting and asking for input
Don, I have a newer model Micro 335 that I could use a spare string for (if you one that you were stuffed on). PM me a PayPal invoice, or however you do it, and I'll send you the funds and address to ship.

Re: Micro 355 scope base vs dryfire..should I move the base
I did the same thing one day. After examining everything I decided that it may be best to lock the trigger mechanism down in the "dryfired" position and resight the scope just in case it happened that the bolt wasn't pushed past the anti-dryfire catch again. This way it wouldn't necessari...

Re: Crossbow level
I just bought a rifle scope level off eBay for my micro 335 for long range shooting. It is going to mount on top of the front scope ring band.

Re: Recommend a 20- 100 yard ballistic scope reticle
Nice. Let us know your thoughts. At first glance the Raven scope seems bulky and heavy, and the sight area does appear a little more cluttered than the Hawke. I'd take a look through one if I had the opportunity though... Cheers, Nog It does appear cluttered at first glance, but maybe less so at sm...

Re: Recommend a 20- 100 yard ballistic scope reticle
At 1.5 lb that scope is the heavy side for sure, and I doubt quality glass is provided at $299. It is hard to say on the quality of glass, but nearly all $300.00 scopes are made in places with cheap labor, probably at the same factory as a lot of big-name brand scopes are. The Ravin scopes are made...

Here's the reticle for the Ravin scope. Red or green rheostat illuminated.

Re: Recommend a 20- 100 yard ballistic scope reticle
So I found another 100 yard scope that may work on the 335. It is a Kruger made scope for Ravin crossbows. It has the parallax set at 50 yards and has 9 bolt ballistically spaced dots. The glass is coated, the reticle is etched and it is illuminated. Anyone have the opportunity to check this scope o...

Re: Recommend a 20- 100 yard ballistic scope reticle
Thanks for the welcome Normous. I looked at the HHA and use their sliders on my compound hunting rigs, but I was looking to make a long range accurate target bow out of the 335 with a stand alone scope that all I have to do is pick a croashair out of to aim with; not looking to fiddle too much. Vixe...

Recommend a 20- 100 yard ballistic scope reticle
Hello everyone! This is my first post, after reading numerous threads toward finding the best long range ballistic reticled scope. I'd like it to have a zero at twenty and run nine ballistic spaced lines to 100 yards. What I've found out is, nearly all the high-end/big name scope manufacturer's have...
