Also use hot melt for inserts so I can easily change out the dinged nocks. Haven't goosed an arrow in a spell though! Bet there will be a whole lot of attempted goosings of your arrows at Boofest! Make sure your arrows stand out!   http://i61.photobucket.com/albu...

Re: O/T - BLT Fest 2012
Got one on my phone of a couple of plates of bacon. I'll try to get it moved over where I can post it up. It's looking like all of my 'maters are going to hit at one time, so I went and got some more plants Friday. Figure by the time the ones quit, these new ones will be coming on....

Re: Year of the Corn
Mark, the hogs are feral hogs and we had very few if any on the place we hunt until just a few years ago. Once they moved in, its amazing how fast they multiply. Got all sizes and colors. I thought it was fun when we just had a few.... it aint fun no more! The javalinas are quite a bit south or quit...

Re: Dark Lady
Mikey, You'll love "Dark Lady". I picked an older carved tip Exocet off e-bay about a year ago. She works great and shoots great but is sure not pristene! I actually bought it thinking that I could resell it and make a few bucks, as it was pretty cheap.Well I got a new string for it and sh...

Re: sighting cross bow with a gun borescope
I did this when I took a scope off my crossbow and put another on it. Bore sight the original one then remove and install the new one and adjust to the originals coordinates on the grid. Was real close. Figured it would at least be a good starting point. May have been overkill tho.
