For those that have shot both, how much shorter are the limbs on the 335 and how does it compare for cocking-easier or harder to cock?

So the tool is of no use unless the inserts or nocks are removed correct?

Good call on the 1/4 off instead of 1/8 as my bumpers are already getting beat up. Is there any disadvantage to having the brace at 1/4?

In order to use the squaring tool, I would have to heat the inserts and remove them correct? When I've done that in the past, I end up ruining about 15% of the arrows so I think I will just stick with messing with the washers for my exising arrows. The string is stretched and isn't creeping anymore. So should the final brace height be 1/8 off the bumpers?

The string should be about 1/8 off the end of the bumpers when the crossbow is in the uncocked position correct? Just checking.

I did get most of them to spin well with minimal wobble by playing with the washers. What do you guys mean by squaring the inserts?

Thanks for the suggestions. I will play with the washers and see if that addresses it. The Thunderheads were spinning much better than these. I though it was bad when I could only get about half of them to spin right!!

I'm shooting 18 inch Black Eagle Executioners out of my Matrix 355. I just switched the nocks out to white plastic BE nocks. I noticed some white streaking down the right side of the rail and black streaking on the nocks and the nock end of the bolts. Is this normal??

For those hunting from trees: do you cock the crossbow at your vehicle before walking into the woods? Do you then raise it into the tree cocked with the haul rope around the stirrup or sling? What do you use for a hanger once in the tree? Do you typically not uncock it until you are back at your veh...

I'm shooting 18 inch Black Eagle Executioner bolts with 110 grain inserts. Thinking about getting some slicktricks. Any recommendations in terms of using 100 or 125 grain or does it even matter? Would the 100 gr fly better?
