Re: Micro 335 Limb Failure
Both of my Micro limbs are flawless just like the majority of Micro bows!! That's always been my opinion but i only personally know 2 people in my tiny neck of the woods who own gen 2 micro 335's. my son is on his 3rd set of limbs and i am swapping out my splintered limbs this weekend. the service ...

Re: Mosquitos were swarming by the thousands
Our elevated stands weren't too bad if you bundled up a bit (in 90+ degree weather!) but our new ground blind was pure misery. A thermacell made it bearable but i was mocked by the young guys for being an old wuss. My son took the blind the next day and didn't take my offer of the 'cell and his text...

Re: Tripod stands
When we get older we don't work harder, we work smarter,
i agree but it would sure be nice to have both options available!

Re: Scope Setting
so, bill, are u thinking of changing over to this technique? my ML scope has multiple cross hairs but i only use the main one. after a lifetime of hunting in swamps & forests i am now hunting fields on my son's land where the shot distance varies considerably. doesn't matter much when i am there...

Re: Chronographing Excaliburs
I'm going to contact Excalibur about my other limbs and see if they'll replace them. Thanks everyone for their advice. as i stated in a different thread, my son got replacement limbs for his bow and the color is noticeably different. idk if this is avoidable but but you may want to consider it as y...

Re: New string on Micro 335
we just put new limbs and a new string on my son's 335. what a bugger! the knot on his stringer kept slipping and wouldn't compress the limbs enuff to get the string on. used my stringer and eventually got the limbs compressed. the stringer worked fine on my 335. we did not twist the D. Miller strin...

Changing your bow camo
in the past i have read about members customizing their bows. anyone here have any advice on changing the camo on a crossbow? reason i'm asking is because #1 son received new limbs for his micro 335. they work fine but the camo doesn't match his stock so it looks a lil odd. can a guy do a dyi dip or...

Re: What is the weirdest thing you have ever come across or found in the woods while hunting?
i was walking a swamp surrounded by corn for birds and found some ducks hanging by their necks in very old cedar stumps. the stumps had rotted unevenly and had fingers or spikes of wood sticking up. the ducks were hung in the crotches of those spikes and had been eviscerated. none of the meat was ea...

Re: Can someone post a pic for me
im getting some nice pics of velvet bucks and thought a thread of buck pics from forum members would be fun to look at as the 2018 season approaches. what worked for me last year thru google pics no longer works. what a pain! could very well be operator error but it really shouldn't be this hard to ...
