Re: Good Inexpensive Game Camera?
Have a couple Moultries and they're OK, but I agree with dagriz on the Trophy cams. I really think that the Bushnell Trophy cam is the best. They take decent pictures and trigger speed is awesome. Had trouble with one and customer service said to send it back in with $10. Couple weeks later I had a ...

Riflemanz....I was posting a thread to "Thank" the 4 guys that I have done business with the past fews weeks. I have first hand experience dealing with them, but haven't done any business with Xcaliber (Dan). Have heard from others that he is a pretty fine guy too.

Re: Black Diamond Storm Headlamp
Have seen these before and they look pretty good, but definitely have to be careful where you buy them. I think you can get them on Amazon starting at $29.95 and some other places they are as high as $49.99. I think they'd be a good light for $30, but $50 is kind of pushing it. I'm kinda of...thrift...

Stand up fella's
Just wanted to say "Thanks" to vixenmaster, da griz and munch! Have had dealings with all 3 in the past few weeks and they all are good people to deal with. They make excellent products and stand behind it as well. Seems fitting that they all 3 belong to the Excalibur forum!!

Re: Got a little careless..
Definitely agree with you there. Old does are tough to fool. Got busted by the same doe twice in 1 day....2 different stands. Only reason I know it was the same one is that she's got this really wide white mark on her neck. Been around about 3 years now. I'd love to get her, but have my doubts that'...

Re: Summit Viper clanking when I walk
I've got a Summit Viper SD and have minimal noise. You definitely need to find what's causing the noise before you can fix it...just taking a shot in the dark otherwise.

Re: diablo point weight
No top end on the weight that I'm aware of. A number of folks using 150 or 175 grain slicks on the Diablos. You'll forget about the noise, once a deer is on the ground...lol! Make sure to have your string a string width or 2 off the REDs. X2 on the Boo string and heavy arrows really help a bit too. ...

Re: Rainy Day Matrix Games
A little more sophisticated than what I tried before, but came to about the same conclusion. A little better with the Reds, but not a lot of difference. It would have been interesting to see what the difference was if you had some heavier arrows to try. I think they also make the bow quieter....a lo...

Re: Broadheads
That's strange...I shot boltcutters for 3-4 years and never had problems with them not being close to the same POI as the 150g field points. I did have trouble with my 355 at first too though. Now mind you....I haven't shot crossbows nearly as many years as you, but for whatever reason I think that ...
