Hey everyone, I'm looking into the hobby of making some flemish twist strings ( kill some time during winter months ) so I'm looking for some guidance. I have the jig I will be using and have received some string making material's but would like more info on them. So what I have in front of me is 2 ...

Gonna try a make a flemish twist string so...... with the length being 35.5 would I add another 20inch of material making it 55.5inch to compensate for string loops and etc.?
Any help would be appreciated
