Re: NAP Spitfire out of a crossbow
I have been using NAP Spitfire Max and regular Spitfire's for a long time and never had one open up. I use the 125 grain and have great success. My xcals are Vortex and I switched from that to the Micro 335. They do make good entrance and big exits. Really good blood trails if they go that far.

Re: Excalibur micro 355 mechanical broadhead
NAP Spitfire Max 125 grain they are on my stocked Quills. Have never had a problem using them and they shoot real well. I have shot them with my Vortex and on my Micro 335. Great blood trails. I have taken a good bit of Deer over the years with them.

Re: Salt licks
A good mixture that I use cost about $50 bucks. I go to a feed store and buy 50 Lb bags. 1 - bag of Stock-salt 2 - bags of Trace mineral salt 1 - bag of DiCalsium Phosphate Mix one part Stock Salt ,two parts Trace Mineral and one part Dical. This will make about six to eight sights. I usually make a...

Re: Reducing scent
I have been Bear hunting a few times and I do use the Sent Killer Gold also, but I hang my clothes outside and then what ever the vegetation is in the area I will rub some that from the ground. One thing I also used and had to problem with is Thermacell. I used the regular one. Now I see they have a...

Re: My favorite stand
Joe,
I had a stand a few years back we called it the gillie tree stand. The guys I hunt with we took a lot of out of it. The funny part is that is was not that high off the ground. I finally lost it to Mother Nature. I always look for them vines to hand stands. I think they are great cover.

Re: Hawke XB 30 Pro
The best advice is go look thru the scope and see what you think. This is what I did to compare them. This helped me with my decision to buy it.

Re: Hawke XB 30 Pro
I picked up one this year and it sits on my Micro 335. I asked a few questions on this site and got some good info. I'm very happy with it. Great scope. Shot a few deer with it and and the glass is clear and good for low light conditions morning and evening. If you are going to any of the outdoor sh...

Re: The perfect crossbow scope reticle
I picked up the Micro 335 a few years ago and it came with a Octane scope as the standard package. This scope I had no propblem with until last year when my eyes started to play a factor using it that age thing. I listen to a lot of good recommendations on this site about scopes. I ended up getting ...

Re: questions about a new scope
I upgraded to a Hawke XB Pro SR and I have had no problem with it at all. It's clear and the illumination is a blessing for low light conditions. So far this year I have taken 5 Deer from 20-45 yards. The scope a bit expensive compared to some others out there. I can not say anything bad about the s...

Re: Looking to update my scope
Hey guys I have been hunting with the Hawke XB Pro and so far I like it. I did take a Doe with it mounted on my Micro. So far no complaints. I had a few other guys look through it and shot a couple arrows and they liked it and are thinking about getting one. The season is young yet will let you know...

Re: Spitfire Broadhead Question
I have been using NAP Broadheads for a long time. The one I use now is the Spitfire Max 125 grain. It's a great Broadhead. They fly really good. As far as the crossbow ones I was told the retention clips are a little heavier on them. I have shot many a deer with them and had no problems. They have c...

I have been using NAP Broadheads for years. When they came out with the mechanic ones I tried them and that's all I use today. The ones I shoot out of my Micro 335 are Spitfire Max 125 grain with the arrows are quills with Lumenoks. I have shot many a Deer with them and have great blood trails and t...
