Congrats! I got two daughters 10 & 12 yrs old my oldest wants to go hunting and she along with my wife signed up for their gun safety and hunter course.

I can understand the 'dress in layer' combo but still I find when I reach my spot and then put on the remaining layers including a windbreaker after a few hours I start to get cold again which is not so pleasant. Here where I hunt it's illegal to have a xbow cocked or loaded, it has to be in a transport case until 30mins before sunrise or 30 mins after sunset.
