Re: Broadheads
I shoot NAP spitfires out of my 355 just fine. I am using the 125 grain heads though with 110 grain brass inserts in BEE arrows to get more foc. Instead of wrecking a good broadhead though, buy yourself some of the practice blades to sight in. You can just take the 3 blades out of your broadhead and...

Yup...agree with wheelie!

Re: How do you keep your broadheads tight?
Just a dab of clear nail polish. Holds, but not too tight. Do it a couple days before you use them. Otherwise you may stink up the place...lol!

Re: made some new arrows.......
Those look nice. I've cut down some of my aluminum arrows from the compound days and used in the crossbow. As long as they're a large enough diameter so the string catches the nock about in the middle. If the shaft is to small you risk a partial dry fire.

Re: Tact Zone Scope issue
Would be interesting to know if it holds, now that you have it sighted in at 20 though. Might want to call Excalibur too. They should get you fixed up pretty quickly.

Re: Low Lifes
That's too bad. So frustrating to try and figure things out for hunting and the buggars have to steal your stuff!

Re: Tact Zone Scope issue
Manual is correct. 1 click per 1/2" at 20 yards. Scope tube slid into the rings OK...no binding or pinching? A lot of times the scope doesn't slide into the rings completely and holds the scope up or down just enough to cause a lot of problems.

Re: R.E.D.S. on a Matrix 355
Yes...I saw that it was hitting the riser before the bumpers were installed, but now I know where the brace height should be set to keep that from happening. They do come from the factory with the string set way too close to the riser....at least mine was. Thanks!

Re: R.E.D.S. on a Matrix 355
Yes...I understand what you're both saying, but basically all they seem to be doing is cushioning the string a bit. As far as for noise or vibration dampening I don't see that they do anything. If that's all that is being accomplished by having them installed is to cushion the string, I'll take my c...

R.E.D.S. on a Matrix 355
I added a set of R.E.D.S. on my 355 a while back. Had shot the 355 for a while before I bought them and noticed that my string was slapping the riser before I added them. With no lines to go by I wasn't sure how far back I should move the string. I kept twisting the string until it was about where I...

I saw that too. I'd just email David and ask him. I'm sure he'd respond to you in short order.

Re: Brace Height on Matrix 355
Yes that's normal. I keep the brace height 1-2 string widths off the REDs.

Re: Metal Detector
It's doubtful that you'll be able to recover your arrows. The only ones I ever find are the ones that have gone through a deer and that's barely more than 50% of the time. I'd put the money towards more arrows.
