Re: Stirrup slipped of foot while cocking my Excalibur

I just had to go cock mine again to see! I keep my bow right next to my right knee and the butt is pretty much pointing right at my gut! I tried a few different ways like you said, but I couldn't get it figured out! I just will keep doing what I have been, and just put my fut WAY into the stirrup. M...

Re: Stirrup slipped of foot while cocking my Excalibur

The proper way of cocking your bow "never has the butt of the stock pointing at any part of your body". I know it seems to be easier when you are directly over the bow when cocking, but after you learn how to cock the bow properly, with the stock along the outside of your leg, it is not t...

Re: Stirrup slipped of foot while cocking my Excalibur

THIS IS MY WORSE NIGHTMARE! Because of how short the micro is, and my height, I literally have the butt of the bow in my crotch! If it slipped out I would be singing the high notes for months!

Re: My Honey Hole Has Been Corrupted

WEAR ORANGE, seriously. So many idiots out there drinking too much and trying to shoot anything that moves. My dad and I enjoy about 250 acres of land that pretty much just we, and the landowners kids hunt, and they only hunt gun season. A lot of guys just sort of flame out too, so you might see all...

Re: Crossbow Shooting Form

Thank you for your input everyone, I truly appreciate it. One last question, since follow through is so very important due to the slower reaction of the string and arra than in a firearm, is there any remedy to the jump or jolt of the crossbow as it fires? On a rifle I like to hold it loose and let...

I showed my wife this picture. She said "Oh I love Jesus Calling, and Apples to Apples, we should get that game" Women.

Mine were touching the bumpers, just the normal thing. Have fun (after you adjust it)!

Re: Huntin Place

That's really good for the Ozarks. I used to live in Roach, MO. Here in Michigan we see a lot of deer. Just the other night I passed on a few little ones knowing a bigger one would be by, then shot a big Ole doe. Good luck this year!

Re: First w/ my micro!

As far as pics go I didn't have photobucket, and didn't want it. I just created an album on my Facebook account that only I can see, I then just follow the img link above and paste the url into it. https://scontent.fhsv1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xap1/v/t1.0-9/11138132_10153154918172285_37410538388686...

Re: Dr Stirrup could use our help!

Fergie,
That is a sexy bow. WOW, I love the munch mount, the 3 arrow quiver, the Drstirrup, and everything else. I'll probably never pull the trigger on a TT trigger, a Drstirrup, a munch mount, or anything else, but it won't keep me from drooling over your rig!

Re: Dr Stirrup could use our help!

I wasn't going to buy one, but I looked on their website and I didn't see any for sale, said 2016? Also I am not really convinced how/why this is a great upgrade. Don't crucify me, but I just don't get it. Maybe you could convince me, and then I could spread the word!

Re: vanilla killer

So, because I live in a CWD county in Michigan, we are not allowed to bait this year. I imagine that this recipe is considered a "food" and not a "scent", however I had the ingredients and mixed up a small batch. I then had a half empty jar of peanut butter that I mixed it all to...

From the angle the arrow went in it looks like it was a vertical bow.
Would probably have been a pass through with a crossbow.
The hand is pretty protected with an Excal. I'd be more worried about eyes, face, wrists, and anyone standing nearby!
