Re: New String question
Yes you need to resite your bow. I just changed my dacron string with a new one and it was shooting high a little. Better to be safe than sorry. Also, I am shooting a smidge below the bottom hash and I'm getting the best accuracy I have ever gotten out of my bow. Truely amazing how it is shooting ri...

Touched my string with broadhead
I was sighting in my ibex yesterday with a broadhead that I have dedicated to just sighting in, so it is fairly dull. As I was putting everything away I accidentally touched (bumped) the broadhead to the string. I don't see any cuts, but i am nervous to not change it out. Has this happened to any of...

Re: Has the IBEX been replaced?
I just ordered an alum rail ibex from wyvern creations with their excalibur crossbow pkg and I can't wait to get it ! This will be my first bow and I handled the alum rail version and saw the smf version in pics and just couldn't get past the look of the smf rail so I went for the aluminum. I'm sur...

Ibex with brass inserts and slick tricks. Great tree stand bow (size wise and thumbhole stock), and they simply crush deer. Hurry up if your buying Aluminum rail version.

Re: Has the IBEX been replaced?
They are both 175lb bows with the same length rail? Other than one being traditional and the other having a thumbhole stock, what is different on them?taz3 wrote:the Ibex and Phoenix are not the same Xbow, the stock grip, Camo pattern and overall length are different.

Re: Has the IBEX been replaced?
Since the Phoenix is still currently being offered, I feel they could have kept the Ibex aluminum (since all parts are the same) and still produced the SMF model for that price market they are trying to capture. Like many of you have already said, give the option. Maybe someone from Excal will expla...
