That was one lucky purchase
The purchase of my Relayer Y25 this year looks more and more like a thing of beauty. It was the last one in stock, new, that I saw and what a fortunate purchase it was indeed. To me, anyways, it represents Excalibur the way it was and the way that it appears it will never be again. I see it as a bow...

Re: BC LEH's Online
Greetings IronNoggin from your neighbor province. That's a great picture you got there of your caribou; I'm assuming it's yours. Good luck and straight shooting on your hunts this season. When I checked that BC draw status link I saw "Skeena Grizzly and sheep draw"; I spent 14 summers in t...

Re: 2116 aluminum insert vs 2117 brass insert in the wind
That's a lot more difference than I would have thought for a mere 80 grain diff.
So just a question, are those fletchs offset, helical? have you tested to see if helical handles wind better?

Re: Best Target For Broadhead Practice
I'll tell ya what I do; whether because it's a cheap alternative or just habit over the years but I use two square hay bales. There is always someone around close to town who is selling hay bales so I just pick up a couple of them and set them up somewhere either out on public land or at my sisters ...

Re: Can you use the factory peep sight and the S5?
I use the factory sights and have the S5; it's not a problem, the only thing is that I have to remove the S5 on the side of the riser that the front sight is on to remove it......and that's because it is bent and has a burr that only allows it to be mounted from the outside of the dovetail inwards. ...

Re: new Bear!!!!
Good luck and straight shooting. My spring bear season has come and gone; I did happen on to one big brute as I turned the corner on the trail coming back home one evening a couple weeks ago.....head down, feeding on some south facing grass, quartering away and at 30 yards max.. Only problem was tha...

Re: Windsor Star - May 16 2012
Good job Jim. I'm glad to see that you framed this in a global way that will, hopefully, bring the point home by including: "The CFOs have apparently forgotten that their job is to enforce, without bias or prejudice, the laws passed by parliament, not to make up their own or pick and choose the...

Re: Good News and bad news
Hello Raymond, I have read a bit of/about your situation. I think that there are a lot more people than we realize that can relate to what you're feeling; the cycles of loss, optimism, pain and the sense of being cut-off from what we really like to do and the way we were at one time; I certainly can...

Re: A Happy News Personal Thread.
After a much too long time away from my love of the outdoors/hunting and a year and a half recovery from a motorcycle accident, I went out for my first day of bear hunting this past Thursday and was met by these two in the parking lot: http://i1062.photobucket.com/albums/t482/Joaquim51/DSCN0039.jpg ...

Re: About to pull the trigger...............
I'm very new to the world of crossbows; I have hunted with shotguns, rifles and compound bows in the past though; I also don't shoot 3D or particularly like to shoot a bunch of bolts through my Relayer Y25 either; to date I've shot less than 25 shots and I'm out spring bear hunting at present with f...
