Re: Outdoor card price and renew!!
It's a lot of over regulation on behalf of the goverments hey, not to mention another revenue raiser for them. We'll be needing a license to go and take a crap soon

Target Idea
I saw a target topic come up not long ago and was working away, so couldnt send in a picture of mine. This setup works well for me. Like a lot of guys, I find rags in a sack are the best to pull the bolt up quick, while still allowing you to remove the bolt easily with 2 fingers (Easier than packed ...

Re: new self cocking crossbow/ not excal
Smart Idea ! Good Marketing.
But in reality I believe in "keeping it simple". thats the reason excalibur does so well against all the compounds. It must be heavier to accomadate the extra parts, not to mention another thing to go wrong on ya hunting trip if it seized or jammed.

Re: BLAZER FLETCHING SET-UP ?
Hey Vixenmaster,
How do your 11 and 8 degree helical vanes fit ? Is there much contact around the rail or scopemount.
I though 8 degree would interfere too much, let alone 11

Re: Hawke crossbow scopes
I really liked the Lumizone, with its large recticles and fine crosshair. But for hunting on the move, it can be a bit awkward and bulky. If your just sitting behind a blind or on a treestand, the bulky size should not be a problem for 1 or 2 shots. But for me, the size of the scope forces me to hol...

BLAZER FLETCHING SET-UP ?
After reading a lot of old posts, with many of you reccomending 2" blazers, I'm looking into making some new bolts up with them . I've got a couple of questions though. Will a bolt with helical vanes fit in an excalibur without interfering with the rail etc, or just straight offset? If so, has ...

Re: Treestands verses Groundblind
There's a few good reasons for treestands amongst those replys. Its sounds like you have some thicks woods over there.
If I got up a tree around here, I'd stand out like dogs balls. Big trees are pretty sparse over this way. Animals would see me from a mile away !

Besides tinkering in the Shed, I spend a lot of time prospecting out bush prospecting for this stuff. Like tired rooster says, you never know what you might find

Treestands verses Groundblind
Guys, This may sound like a stupid question, but its a genuine question coming from someone who hasn't hunted deer ever, so bear with me. Whats the the idea of the treestand ? Is it because deer are too sharp or jumpy to get within crossbow range on the ground ? Or because they aren't used to lookin...

Re: Thanks to Everyone
Hi Missin, I'm gonna have to get one of those game cams. Nice shot. A couple of Bush trips ago I come across these two hairy bucks smashing heads. Even after we pulled the 4x4 up in front of them on the track, they Kept at it for another 2 minutes without stopping. Breeding rights hey  Unfortu...
