Re: Tact Zone O ring for battery turret

Thanks for the tip, that does make sense since it's a very thin O ring, will do as you suggested.

Re: Benefit of this forum

I agree with all the helpful advice that's been posted on this forum. I have seen many Excalibur bows where the string is pushing hard into the REDS and deforming them because the brace height isn't set properly :eusa-naughty:, often wondered how many people got rid of them just because they didn't ...

Re: Tact Zone O ring for battery turret

OK, that was easy enough, I just called Excalibur and talked to Dawn. She offered to send a cap with the O ring installed, I told her I just needed the O ring and that they were easy to replace, should be getting 2 of them in the mail shortly.
Thank you to Dawn and Excalibur!

Re: Tact Zone O ring for battery turret

My first thoughts also, will give it a shot, maybe even a plumbing supply, thanks. Just hate to run all over looking for a 25c O ring and spend $25 in gas, been there done that!

Tact Zone O ring for battery turret

I don't remember ever seeing this mentioned on here, I just went to replace the battery in the scope and the thin O ring separated/broke as I was unscrewing the cap. Anyone else have that happen, does Excalibur have them, or where did you find an O ring to replace it. Probably not needed, but I woul...

Congrats on getting a deer, yesterday I checked a trail cam on my property and everything on it was at night, nothing during the day, sure hope that changes come hunting season.

Re: Gas prices

I've been putting gas in a 1966 Impala with a L-72 425hp 427 for almost 58 years! It came with 3:70 gears but now has 4:88's in it, I don't drive it that often anymore and if I do decide to "PLAY" with it the gas milage is horrendous, come to think of it, if I don't play with it the gas mi...

Re: Gas prices

$4.249 a gal. here in NE Pa.
It's not just gas prices, last year's fuel oil was $3.00 a gal., ($2.50 prepay), I just filled @ $4.50 a gal., coal was slightly less than $200 a ton, getting coal today @ $385 a ton, huge price increases along with everything else!

Re: Road killed deer

I haven't seen any road kills recently but have noticed more deer along or crossing the roads and also showing up on my property, after not seeing too many for a while, seems like they are on the move.

Re: OT: Reintroducing Canada's Long Gun Registry

Same argument here, when an airplane goes down and kills 100-200+ people I don't see any calls to ban airplanes. I figure if they ban all "assault and high-capacity weapons", the next shooter will just use a pump gun, then they will go after them next, etc. etc. The ban antique car brought...

Re: First day out with the Mag 340

Another welcome to the forum, there's a wealth of information on here and guys who are willing to try to help out. I would also say to get a couple of Flemish strings and make sure to keep the brace height at the recommended setting. I don't know if it came with a stringing aid, if it didn't get one...
