Getting Stoked!

Even though my upcoming Mule Deer hunt over in Alberta is a ways off, I've been thinking on it lots of late. Big John graciously fired of a dozen of his Fine Works of Art just for that show this past week, and I am keen to get to flying them! Couple days back, my Partner went in for a scout of our a...

Re: Do you need a p.a.l. To hunt with a crossbow?

NO!

A crossbow is NOT a Firearm under our Laws.

Of more interest to you being in Saskatchewan is whether you can use one in standard archery seasons. Methinks not, but the regs are somewhat convoluted in this regard over there from what I can recall...

I would consider them LOW. The "medium" Hawke rings were quite a bit higher. No good for me. I HAVE to have my cheek weld just right or I simply cannot shoot well.

Re: Hawke scope/rings

When I collected my Hawke XB-30 Compact, I simply ordered a set of their rings to go with. Once I mounted the scope with them however, I rapidly discovered that even though designated "medium", these put the scope FAR too high for my liking: http://gallery.fishbc.com/albums/Ironnoggin/Hawk...

Re: Slooowww 380

.... I have found Nirvana in my 380...hoping others can find their Nirvana also.... I have never even fired my 380 once with a stock string, nor an arrow that weighs as little as 350 grains. Nor do I ever plan on doing so. I've also never chronographed it and don't think I'll ever bother. The Hawke...

Re: Trigger Tech Round 2 - The Single Stage

So is this a new single stage trigger they are coming out with? I have been searching for their 2 stage matrix target trigger but it has been discontinued. Is this the replacement for that one? Don't think so - I started this thread well over a year ago now. I see on TT's site that they still have ...

Spare Rail?

A Takeoff from the Spare Limbs thread...

Wondering if one can purchase say a 405 rail?
Might be kind of nice to trade that back and forth with my 380 - two bows in one!

Possible??

Wondering...

My Buddy who I sent this off to came back with the following:

"I once saw a picture of that guy kneeling to take a shot, when he stood up there were four marks imprinted in the soil - two from his knees and two from his balls!"

Norm & Paul have it Right (as usual!).

Go with what they suggest, and you'll find you're shooting to be almost unbelievable in short order.

Love my 380! Best damn bow I've ever run! Welcome to the Club!
