A second point that I forgot to mention. Your arms will stretch. You may become NBA worthy, but a new wardrobe will be needed.You can always just hang out with the rest of us "knuckledraggers". Its pretty easy to spot the Exomax shooters in a crowd.

Keep the cocking rope as short as you can get away with. I have to pull the string up 3-4" to get the last hook over the string. It makes a big difference. Or get a crank. Uncocking is pretty easy though. Hank X2 , I have to pull my string up maybe 5-6" to get it on the last hook. Then it...

Pretty amazing isnt it! Don did the trigger on my Exomax a couple of yrs ago. When I got it back I just couldnt believe the difference.

How about......Keep in mind, I've been up fer to long & need a nap....But...A Excal with different poundage limbs & a scope with poundage adjustable ring, like the speed ring, it so ez to change limbs on a excal, ya can put on a set of lower pound limbs & turn a poundage ring & hunt...

Midway also has more than one video blip on youtube about checkering. Their vids are all short and to the point and very professional.You get an idea of what he uses in the way of tools and his technique. Pretty good watch and its short.

I have never tried checkering,but from what I have heard it is very tedious and darn tough. Need lots of light and good eyes! I have tho stippled a quite a few stocks and it is fairly easy. You can make it look just like an Anschutz grip and forend area. It takes a couple of tools and a few sand bag...
