Re: Feel bad for this guy.

Brian Lilley on this issue... http://www.sunnewsnetwork.ca/video/1477284596001#.T0zNwiaooUI.facebook The line that has made me more angry than anything else, I believe, in this whole ordeal...the Waterloo School Board Superintendant stating that educators 'co-parent'. Excuse me? Co-parent? Teachers ...

Waterloo Regional Police Service Chief Matt Torigian was on AM570 this morning along with Alison Scott from Family and Children's Services. Chief Torigian admitted that mistakes were made and announced that an internal investigation of the incident has been launched. He did, however, state that ever...

Re: Feel bad for this guy.

Ezra Levant's take on this...dead on. It really does sound like something out of The Onion...but it's real...scary scary real. My daughter talks about shooting deer and turkeys all the time, because that's what daddy does. She's going to school in September. Let's just say I have Ed Burlew's number ...

Re: Gun Registry

As with all the valuables in the house that have a serial number on them, I have serial numbers, model numbers and descriptions stored in a flash drive and in hard copy, off site. Good tip for everyone. If you ever get burglarized, not much can be done if you can't provide serial numbers. From exper...

Re: Gun Registry

I will be framing one and placing the words: Never Forget with it, then hanging it in my gun room.

Re: Gun Registry

For now, Raymond, yes. Until C-19 receives Royal Ascent, you will need to keep them and follow by the law as it is currently written.

After it receives Royal Ascent, feel free to do with them as you wish...like driving to Ottawa and burning them in the eternal flame on Parliament Hill. ;)

Re: Toronto International Centre

My wife and I were going to go yesterday, but I took a look at the exhibitor's list and, beyond a couple of the dog-oriented exhibitors, figured there was nothing of interest for us. Could be lots there for other folks, though.

Re: Gun Registry

Baby Duck... Nice. I hope you have better taste in crossbows than you do wine!!! Wine? I thought it was carbonated cough syrup! There's a story behind the Baby Duck that has it's roots in our hunt camp but suffice it to say it has become associated with "celebration" within our gr...

Re: Gun Registry

The Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police may have argued that point, however, their front line officers say otherwise! In a poll conducted by Calgary Police Service Constable Randy Kuntz of front line police officers, more than 85% of respondants stated that the Long Gun Registry was absolutely ...

Corks popping all over around these parts...

It's only the beginning...now that we have taken the beach, time to move inland. It won't be a short fight...but a worthwhile one.

Stay the course folks!

Re: Gun Registry

Wheelie, the legislation clearly states that all of the information in the registry will be destroyed. How many times does Minister Toews have to say "the data IS the registry". Due to the manner in which the legislation is written, the government could, theoretically, be held in contempt ...

Re: Gun Registry

Final vote set for Wednesday evening. Count on it passing. Then it's just a matter of tradition in The Senate. To borrow and paraphrase a Liberal MP when C-391 was defeated...NOW the debate is over.

Re: GoPro camera mount?

Looks like something that could be focused on the smartphone market. I have been looking at options to shoot video with my iPhone in a pinch if I didn't want to lug the camera and tripod around.
