Re: Opinions on which Matrix for me
Testosterone? I just want to shoot deer and turkeys to feed my family. I work hard, we live simple, I don't ask for much. Hunt, fish, garden, firewood, small farm house, used vehicles, pretty much sums it up to keep cost of living down. Why not get what you want if you earn it? I have sett...

Re: Opinions on which Matrix for me
Yeah really been looking at Wyverns deal. A lot of extras with his big package, but don't know if I would rather piece it together. Choice in Hawk scope, trigger tech trigger, case, string, 3 broadheads, 12 BEE's, sling, stringer, and lubes for $479 +/- for upgrades. But I already have a few rifle s...

Re: Opinions on which Matrix for me
I do have a shop about an hour away that I have dealt with before. He is a good guy to work with so I will go and see what he has in stock. Is the tac zone scope any good, or should I think about a bare bow and put on what I want. Not concerned about 100 yd shooting, but 60-70 seems quite doable fro...

Opinions on which Matrix for me
I'll preface this with, I have bowhunted for 20+ yrs. Mainly hunt field edges and a longer shot like 40-50yds is common. Not a competion or target shooter, just deer and turkeys, and a few shots throughout the year. I am big and strong so draw weight means nothing. Went to crossbow 2 yrs ago with fu...

Re: Going to my stand here in 5 minutes, Glad I did!
Alright man, that is a brute for sure  . Love that character. My first sit for urban was, guess, come on, you know, a big buck, with no doe down yet :x . I for one think the earn a buck is dumb. They want to reduce the NUMBER of deer, what difference does it make in what order? Or 4 bucks for...

Re: Got my Buck!
It's heating up everywhere in the midwest, this cold front coming in should help too. I gotta get the kid his buck in range, then I'm getting a doe! I am hunting the firearms season with the Vortex this year, I got my one buck, so I'm not allowed to hunt with a fire arm until muzzle loader season, ...

Re: Monster Buck!
Dan, I hunt Kingsbury often. Only live about 10 mi from there. It is busy during early bow and gun, but tapers off quickly. There is a lot of deer there. It wouldn't be anything if it were not for the refuge zones. You just have to know where the deer like to come out of. Been hunting it for 20+ yea...

Re: Monster Buck!
xcalibur, can you elaborate with at least what town you are nearby? I live in Rolling Prairie, between LaPorte and South Bend, and just interested to hear where you are at. Want to be prepared for the news when you get that big boy!!! There are some big ones out there now that the one buck rule has ...

Very nice hunting spot you have Michael. Nice trio of tracking dogs too. Go for a lung shot next time, and let those dogs do some work. I am sure they all would appreciate it. Take care and happy hunting. H.P.D. I don't think vixenmaster needs to be told where to shoot a deer at, look at his record.

Equinox questions
Looking at a used Equinox. Supposedly 2012 version, 23 shots, too much for guy to handle, has crank a roo, A1 shape. Shot it and it is fine. Question is, it does not have a camo rail or S5 suppressors. Otherwise it was a package setup. He bought it that way and has reciepts for the purchase. He is a...
