Sig 226 in colder weather.
Sig 2022 in warmer, it's lighter.
Both 9mm, full of HP hollow points with a couple FMJ mixed in.
I just have to have a DA/SA hammer gun.
Striker fires scare me.

Re: arrow weight for 390-400 fps
Congrats on the Bulldog....PLEASE post LOTS of pictures!!!!!! :D[/quote] I handled and shot a Bulldog 400 at the local shop yesterday. Pretty nice. First time I ever fired a Xbox and it was nothing but X's? Can't wait!! In the process of ordering one right now. Regarding the arrows, I'm thinking ab...

Re: boltcutter broadhead
I'm just setting up a new Xbow and am thinking about the 125 gr Spitfires.
Used the 100 gr in my vertical and loved them.
How do you like them?? And how have they flown/performed??
Thanks.

Lighted nocks
Is there any consensus regarding the lighted nocks for Xbows??
I have used Nocturnals and Lumenocks with my vertical bow and had better luck with the Nocturnals.
Been looking at the Nufletch Ignitors for the Xbow though.

Re: arrow weight for 390-400 fps
WOW! 542 gr, I would have never guessed.
I was thinking I'd need to stay about 380-400 gr with my set up.
Guess I'll find out, I just wanted to try and cut down my trial and error a little.

arrow weight for 390-400 fps
OK, another new Xbox owner question: I am getting a Bulldog 400. (yeaaaa me!!! :D , I'm excited, and at my age that doesn't happen much anymore  ) I understand I want weight foc and that more weight, to an extent, is easier on the bow and maybe more forgiving downrange. Was looking at 18"...

Quiver on/off?
I am just getting my first Xbow, the Bulldog 400 and I am still pretty green on the whole Xbow thing. What do most of you do regarding the bow mounted quiver? Do you leave it on, take it off, never use it. Take the mount bracket off entirely or leave it on? Shoot with it, without it? Thanks for the ...

Re: Who wants a bulldog?
I do, based on the recommendation of an Xbow mentor/friend. That's why I joined this forum, to gain more Xbow & Excalibur, in particular, knowledge. It will be my first Xbow ever and I am looking forward to getting one. Just need to sort out all of the accessories and spend more of my kids inher...

Gaston at Dr Stirrup just emailed me that the unit for the Micro and new Matrix Bulldog 400 would be available in mid-summer '16.
