the total weight is 390gr... the broadhead is 125gr. and the firebolt is 265 grs. according to the Accessories Excalibur web site. :? Your would be 40gr above recommended which translates into roughly a 8 fps loss, My guess is right at 342 fps with 101ke. http://www.huntamerica.com/phpforums/viewto...

Re: this is the DEADLIEST braadhead made!!!
Ok, Northwoods Archery has done some consistent penetration testing of the more popular heads out there. Recently they did the Toxic and the link is below. Granted they shot not from Crossbows and what we hunt is not ballistic gel or plywood, but the results are still interesting to myself. But I al...

Re: Swacker broad head with Excalibur 380?
after reading some of the concerns here and elsewhere about swhackers destroying xbow arrow shafts, I became leary (search the forum for "swhacker" if you want to see the discussions). Then I shot one of mine, and while it did not destroy the shaft, it left a mark where the blade did hit ...

GT Laser IV's weigh 13.9 gr per inch. I shoot 20" GT Laser IV with 92gr brass upfront, Lumenok on the back, Blazers and a 125 gr head. Brings me to right at 542gr.

Re: 10 Days no See a Deer
I live in one of the most remote counties in Indiana, with the least amount of population as well. Only a couple of industries also in the county. Hill country, rugged, not a lot of farm ground of which is scattered in the hill, wooded country. I have only 2 neighbors within 1/4 mile of me and afte...

You are one of three people whom I've heard (or read) use the term "hill jack", with me being on that list too!!! I had to chuckle to myself at that! Believe me, here in Arkansas we have an over abundance of rednecks AND hill jacks. That and just being too easy and not thrilling eno...

Re: Scent free laundry detergent
I use Arm n Hammer Scent Free primarily because of the baking soda in it. If I cannot find it I use All Free n Clear. Works fine. I air dry them though on a line under some oak trees I have in my back yard. And just plain ol' Ivory bar soap, about as free and clear of any smell ya' can get.
