Re: Is This Really Archery Hunting?
The AirBow will Not wipe out any archery equipment being used today,.... Come on guys, of course it woun't, it's not archery! It is most definitely an airgun that shoots an arrow. Believing anything else is just a dream initiated by advertising people with strong bias. So far I believe everyone tha...

Re: Is This Really Archery Hunting?
http://www.quackenbushairguns.com/LA_Outlaw.htm I want to say that I would never belittle or begrudge someone's choice of hunting tool. As long as they can us their tool effectively and I don't see a bunch of three-legged animals running around, all is good. Hunting with this new tool could be amazi...

Re: Is This Really Archery Hunting?
.....If there is a real, legitimate reason for keeping it out of a season .... Anthony, if you as an avid bowman can not find a reason to separate this from archery, what are the chances of someone less knowledgeable finding one? It would be wise to answer this question. If given the opportunity wo...

Re: Is This Really Archery Hunting?
.....Everyone wants one for archery hunting....This could be devastating to CROSSBOW industry in my opinion..... Not just damaging to crossbows, it could jeopardize the entire early archery season. If archers are willing to set aside, hunting with a bow and arrow as defining archery equipment, then...

Re: Is This Really Archery Hunting?
MHO it doesn't fall under the Acrhery catagory, it has no limbs nor string. So its not a Bow of any type! This is almost right. :D Archery is described/defined as a sport, practice or skill of using a bow to propel arrows. So it takes both the bow and an arrow, not just an arrow. With the accuracy ...

Re: trigger tec maintence
But unless the TT are a sealed unit, how do you deal with mud and gunk that comes from in-field-use? Grunge like that will contaminate the lube so compressed air wouldn't help.

Re: Recess in riser. Why?
That certainly is possible I suppose but surely all 3 of those could be achieved in many other ways while leaving no way to place a dangerously short arrow.nchunterkw wrote:....

Re: Recess in riser. Why?
IMO If the broadheads were actually that" far in " the distinct possibiity would exist of placing your foot in the sturrip and inadvertently pulling the trigger to release the limbs and decock a bow while quite possibly putting a broadhead thru your foot as you had forgot to unloa...

Re: Brace height vs limb stress
I don't think brace height can be to high,,, but I am not sure???.... No offense intended but this is wrong. As the string is shortened the pre-load increases, as you mentioned. But instead of looking at the shortened power stroke, look at the limb tips when the bow is cocked. They will be closer t...

Re: Excal C2 Crank Pros n Cons
If you need it, it is indispensable and a great sturdy tool. I break all the rules with mine. It lives on my Exocet. I removed the large brass hand tightening bolt and replaced it with a flush fitting allen bolt.

Re: Speculation thread on the limbs breaking....
The fact that there are multiple micro users that have literally thousands of trouble-free shot cycles, proves this is not a design flaw. It is clearly not asking more than the limbs can safely provide. The fact that there have been experienced users that have had multiple failures, proves that ther...
