Re: Serving FUBAR'd!
It don't take much to tear up the serving on a string, like Boo said check the flat nocks, the string latches, and even the rail for any sharp edges, burrs or rough surface. Use a jewelers glass or a magnifying glass. sometimes they're not apparent to the naked eye. A torn up servings not caused by ...

+1 on Leupold, although I'd like to see them use a 1.5. X 5 vx 2 as the platform for their crossbow scope, shorter, lighter and more compact.

Re: What weight brass inserts for 18" zombie slayer?
I've shot my best groups with a 110 Insert and 125 grain head. Beyond 50 yards they nose dive more, but they seem to buck the wind a little better and give you a little better energy/penetration if you contact bone on less than a ideal hit.

Re: What weight brass inserts for 18" zombie slayer?
The 110 insert may help offset the extra weight of the illuminated nock.

Re: Feedback on hunting arrow combinations
I've switched from firebolts to spine indexed bees with 90 grain brass inserts, 125 gr slicktricks and sk300 vanes. They fly great out of my ibex. The slick trick blades are made by luntz in Germany as are the G5 strikers. Boos right, they are the sharpest blades I've ever seen also. Jefro

Re: new limb strap bolts
Looks good, now if they replace the button head screws in the scope base with cap heads and use a keen or acme thred insert in the mainframe for the stock screws their crossbows would be simply perfect. Jefro

Excalibur trigger job
Has anyone returned a trigger to Excalibur for work? If so were you satisfied with it? I replaced the trigger on my new cub with one from an old Maxpoint that I cleaned and polished a couple years ago and it's definitely an improvement.

They are all kill shots! I just can't get bolts 2,3,&4 to be consistent. Trying to get her tuned in to 2 inch groups. Like others have stated try rotating Arrows 2,3 &4 marking each vane with a dry erace marker to keep track of which vane you used as the cock vain. At some point 2,3 and 4 w...

Re: Cut and mill mainframe
You guys are right, I hunt just north of his shop and known Danny for many years. I asked him If a matrix riser would bolt right up to the max point frame just like the old exo series do when I was down there during turkey season. He said "I suppose so,you'd have to shorten it, but let me tell ...

Cut and mill mainframe
I have two max points, I decided to use one as a backup for the other (limbs / cams) so I have a extra mainframe. I would like to cut and mill the mainframe and put the limbs and riser from my cub on it. Im looking for a bow with the performance between a matrix 330 and 355. Anyone know what length ...

I added the S5 when I went to a Flemish string on my ibex, A little added insurance against a dry fire in my opinion. you want a small gap between the
String and the bumper, about a quarter of an inch
